Jenna holds a 200 hr E-RYT with Yoga Alliance and has taught in the US and Abroad since 2010. She has a BA in Eastern Philosophy and Indigenous Education, but her true vedantic lineage comes through 4 + years of study at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam and independently with Teachers of the Swami Dayananda Saraswati Lineage.
Jenna's Classes are vigorous and oscillate between inspirational philosophy and alignment based Asana. As a modern mother, steeped in Ancient Traditions - she strives to offer both a challenging practice & an invitation to step into altered states of consciousness through sadhana (practice with the purpose of liberation).
Emily is a 500 hr RYT in Hatha and Healing Emphasis Yoga.
Emily began teaching in 2014, her classes incorporate traditional and modern practices of Hatha yoga, both passive and active, which establish physical and mental clarity and calmness, there are also elements of vinyasa, and classes always include a long savasana at the end.
Emily attributes part of her swimming success to yoga; by increasing her strength, flexibility, and focus, she was able to achieve her dream of becoming an Olympian as a part of the 2008 U.S. Olympic Swimming Team.
She also works full-time at IslandWood as an event planner, and hopes to one day offer yoga-swimming events around the globe.
Heidi is a dedicated yogi and teacher. She reignited her passion for yoga after suffering health issues that included headaches, dizziness, and anxiety. A renewed focus on meditation and asana brought great relief from these symptoms and has positively impacted her health in so many ways, that she will now bring that wisdom into her own classes.
She completed her 200 RYTT with Jenna/Passion for Practice this spring and has embraced the holistic nature of yoga. She is committed to the continuation of her studies in both the inner practice of yoga as well as asana.
Tashas yoga experience began as a child, under the inspiration and tutelage of her father and Colleen Swantner. She completed her own Teacher Training in NY in 2008.
Presently she is teaching from her continual inspiration of the Ashtanga system. She is also newly trained as a "pre and postnatal yoga teacher" and will surely be sharing the gift of yoga during pregnancy and in the postnatal time.
Her classes are a well-paced, well-informed Guided/Modified Primary Series every Sunday Morning at 9 am at Passion for Practice.

Francie’s Yoga journey began many years ago as a supplement to running marathons and competing in triathlons. She has immersed herself in the consistent practice and study of Yoga for the last 11 years ago and she has been teaching various forms of Yoga for over seven. She is a Yoga Alliance E-RYT 200 / RYT 500 hour certified teacher. Francie’s training has incorporated elements of Ashtanga, Hatha, Iyengar, Yin and Vinyasa Flow disciplines. She continues to deepen her knowledge of Yoga by taking workshops several times a year. Francie’s mission is to make Yoga accessible to everyone and every body by fusing gentle movement with a focus on the benefits of proper structural alignment.
Alyssa began practicing yoga in 2011 at a Bikram studio in Southern California and over the past 6 years, she has expanded her practice to include vinyasa, yin, and ashtanga in addition to incorporating the 8 limbs of yoga into her daily life.
Alyssa has completed (2) 200 hour YTTs as well as a 100 hour Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist (AYS) program. She is looking forward to incorporating what she’s learned through both YTTs as well as the Himalayan Institute's AYS training to bring fully embodied and personalized instruction.
In her free time, Alyssa takes care of her backyard homestead in Gig Harbor.
With a deep background in competitive sports, cross training, cycling and 10 years in the MARINE CORPS, Art was astounded at how Yoga has affected is physical and spiritual life.
Yoga opened his eyes to doors he did not realize existed and the more he learned the more he was hooked. This growth lead Art to gaining a deeper understanding of what Yoga can bring to a person which ultimately provided Art with his recent completion of the 200 Hour Teacher Training.
Art encourages is class to breathe into and feel the pose, what a pose brings to the body and the mind to develop a sense of inner strength, power and relaxation.
Joni stumbled upon yoga in 2014 during a stressful period in her life. While she loves the way yoga makes her body feel, mental clarity and inner calm have been yoga’s greatest gifts. She recently completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training with Jenna at Passion for Practice.
In addition to yoga, Joni enjoys all manner of physical activity—CrossFit (she holds a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification), running, cycling, hiking, and sailing. Her passion is helping athletes and non-traditional yogis achieve greater flexibility and functionality through yoga.
Stacy is a 500 hr Registered Yoga Teacher and an absolute Joy! Her classes are fun, alignment based and inspirational. She loves teaching those new to yoga and seasoned practitioners alike!

Justin took his first hatha and kundalini yoga classes in 2011 while studying anthropology at Pomona College. The contentment yoga offered inspired him to begin studying the philosophy behind the postures.
Since receiving his 200-hour YTT certification from the Samarya Center in 2014, Justin has explored and taught restorative, yin, vinyasa, and Ashtanga yoga. His classes are light-hearted and emphasize attention to the breath, intentional transitions, and accessibility for all bodies through modifications.
