Breath Awareness Training: Level I
Breath Work, when taught with complete awareness of the anatomy and the method yields results it could take 10 years of Asana Only to deliver. This training is for ANYONE who wants to feel more ease and freedom mentally while surely opening the body in the process.
Much of our health depends on remaining in an aerobic state and detoxifying the body - so it craves different - more healthful choices in all walks of life.
The breath is the doorway to optimal health, vitality, creativity and applied action in the world. It is a way through trauma that does not need to re-hash the story in order to be highly effective. Imagine: cursing through limiting beliefs, long held tension and fear without even needing to talk about it. The breath has an intelligence that speaks volumes.
Jenna and Tracey are Collaborating for this unique and hard to find training that commits to teach the breath through immersion in the practice itself. Breathing Mandala’s Breath Awareness Training is geared towards supporting inquisitive people and providers to understand the breath and learn how to open it.
It is likely, as a provider, you already have experience in the challenge of getting through to a client who is shut down from anxiety and/or stress. Through this course Tracey (of www.breathingmandala.com ) and Jenna will teach you how to efficiently open the tension in the breath in order to effectively administer the healing/change-making work. As an individual, you will come to understand the breath and know how to keep it expansive
During this Fri- Sun three-day course you will:
- Experience clearing your own breath pattern(s) through 3 complete 'stacked' Breath sessions,
- Learn to identify different breath patterns with hands-on experience opening them,
- Learn about the impact of thought on breath patterns,
- Delve into the Anatomy of breathing, and
- Explore the larger framework of supporting clients in finding their true nature.
- You will ALSO receive an extensive manual to support your learning and provide take-home information that you can employ in your practice and for yourself.
It is the deepest form of Self-care available. You'll understand when you immerse for yourself.
3 Daily Schedule: 12 - 7:30 pm Fri - Sun
Limited to 16 participants due to depth and hands-on assists.
Must have past experience with Jenna or Tracey in Breath Work OR be currently teaching yoga/provider in health care with basic knowledge of breath work.
18 CEU credits are available according to WA standards (please inquire if you would like to know more about receiving CEU credits).
